CJSW was founded to assist first responders in their response to community members struggling with mental health, substance use disorders, housing insecurities, and other social challenges.

Our goal is to reduce repeat

9-1-1 calls and assist first responders with calls that take them away from physical health and crime related emergencies.

CJSW utilizes fully licensed clinical social workers and specially trained master's level social work interns. Working with first responders and behavioral health emergencies is a complex task. CJSW prioritizes training and education to ensure all social workers are prepared to be effective in the field.
